German organic certificate

POWDERme® products meet the requirements of the EU eco regulation and consist of 100% raw materials from organic agriculture.

What does that mean in concrete terms? POWDERme® …

EU eco regulation

Since July 1, 2010, all packaged organic food produced in the EU must bear this organic seal. This food meets the EU requirements for organic farming. Certified manufacturers allowed to carry this organic seal are checked at least once a year by a control institution.

POWDERme® is also certified according to DE-ÖKO-006 and relies exclusively on raw materials that meet the requirements for organic farming in accordance with the EU eco regulation.

German quality standard

Our POWDERme® organic whey protein is completely “Made in Germany” – 100% organic whey from Germany.

All POWDERme® products are filled and packaged in Germany. In order to guarantee the quality of our products, our suppliers and production facilities are externally audited and certified annually.

CO2 neutral
DHL shipping

Over 20 percent of global energy-related CO2 emissions arise in the transport industry. E-commerce significantly contributes to this. POWDERme® therefore sees its responsibility to make a contribution to climate protection by offsetting transport-related CO2 emissions.

Therefore, we only ship with DHL GoGreen. The transport-related CO2 emissions are offset by investments in certified climate protection projects – for example a wind farm in Africa or a biomass power plant in India.

The calculation of the CO2 emissions is based on the weight of the shipment and the distance. DHL has its own patented calculation method.

Sustainable packaging

POWDERme® only uses recycled packaging that is compostable and biodegradable.

We are also participating in the One Tree Planted reforestation project to make our planet greener. We determine the number of trees planted based on packaging quantities. However, more trees are planted than consumed.
